Lake Eibsee
Lake Eibsee, below the Zugspitze with clear, green-tinted water. The lake is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the Bavarian Alps. These mid-October photographs were the second attempt as there was much rain the day before. An extremely low cloud ceiling completely engulfed the Zugspitze. As it was, we had about a four-hour window as the weather rolled in again.
